Veronica Elaine Keenan, 43, Lenexa, Kansas, formerly of Larned, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home.
Veronica was born July 28, 1980, in Larned, Kansas, the daughter of Micheal and Patricia (Anschutz) Keenan. She was a resident of Lenexa, Kansas, for three years, moving from Easton, Kansas. A 1998 graduate of Larned High School, Larned, Kansas, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Kansas in 2003. She was a medical lab scientist at the University of Kansas Cancer Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
She was a University of Kansas Alum, and a proud associate of the University of Kansas Health System.
Survivors include: her parents, Micheal and Patricia “Pat” Keenan, Larned, Kansas; two brothers, Carl Keenan, Lenexa, Kansas, and Bill Keenan (Kara), Kinsley, Kansas; her niece Sophie Keenan, Kinsley, Kansas; and a close personal friend, Candice Norman, Lawrence, Kansas.
A private family service is planned.
Memorials are suggested to Wayside Waifs, Kansas City, Missouri, or the University of Kansas Cancer Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
