At the age of 15, Sophia Linenberger of Hays received a diagnosis of Ewings sarcoma cancer. She is 21 years old and has been fighting cancer for the past six years.
She was actively taking chemotherapy to treat the tumor in her head, and she just found out that she has new tumors on her pelvic bone, making this her fourth battle with Ewings sarcoma cancer.
The Linenberger family has been in shock, devastated and completely heartbroken. Sophia’s cancer results were not what they hoped for. They find themselves in a state of feeling completely numb. The thought of Sophia’s cancer attacking in a new place is heartbreaking for the entire family.
Sophia’s sister, Holly, created a GoFundMe to help her family with cancer expenses. Sophia receives her cancer treatment four hours away from her home and her family has been traveling there very frequently for the past six years.
