It was a record-high, warm Wednesday in Hays.
Official numbers from the K-State Agricultural Center show the temperature on Feb. 25 reached 78 degrees.
That surpasses the previous record high for the date of 76 degrees set in 2024 and again in 2025.
The three-day forecast calls for a wintry mix Sunday into Monday.
