SHERMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Thursday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Nissan Rogue driven by Patsy R. Gresty, 82, Goodland, was southbound on Kansas 27 at Commerce Road.
The Nissan left the stop sign before safe to do so and struck a 2015 Indian motorcycle driven by Dennis R. Staehnke, 71, Goodland.
Both Vehicles came to rest in the southbound lanes of Kansas 27.
EMS transported Staehnke to Goodland Regional Medical Center. Gresty was not injured. Staehnke was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
