THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10 p.m. Monday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Kenworth semi driven by Roger L. Melton, 53, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Brewster exit.
The driver reached for drink and the semi traveled off the road into the ditch and overturned.
EMS transported Melton to the hospital in Colby. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
