Patricia R. 'Patti' Strickler

Patricia R. “Patti” Strickler, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Home in Manhattan, Kansas.  She was born on November 1, 1942 in Ainsworth, Nebraska, the daughter of David W. & Margaret M. Donahoe Berry.  A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she worked for USD 466 for over 36 years serving as both secretary and Clerk Of The Board before retiring in 2012.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Funds For Fun, Xi Delta Kappa Sorority, VFW Auxiliary Post #7773, all of Scott City, Kansas. Patti was also an avid KSU football and basketball fan and enjoyed attending her granddaughters events.

On November 22, 1974, she married Vincent J. Strickler in Cimarron, Kansas.  He survives.

Survivors include her Husband - Vince Strickler of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Suzette & Chris Price of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Colleen Brand of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Peter Berry, Two Granddaughters - Addison Price of Overland Park, Kansas, and Emma Price of Overland Park, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and One Brother - Lawrence Berry.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas, with Steve Payne presiding. 

In Lieu Of Flowers, memorials can be written to the Scott City Animal Rescue, Scott County EMS, Good Shepherd Hospice Home or the Patricia Strickler Scholarship Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 410 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas.
