CHEYENNE COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Monday in Cheyenne County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Chevy Lumina driven by Jaren K. Adelman, 18, Colby, was northbound on County Road 20 at County Road M.
The driver lost control of the car and it began to swerve from one side of the road to the other. The car entered the west ditch sideways, slid over the embankment into a field, rolled and both occupants were ejected.
EMS transported Adelman to Swedish Medical Center in Denver and a passenger identified as Michael A. Adams, 31, Colby, to the Cheyenne County Hospital. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
