Goodland, KS resident and former Oakley, KS resident Leanna VanDonge, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Goodland Regional Medical Center in Goodland.
Leanna was born on November 3, 1957, in Quinter, KS to Leonard and Pauline (Heinrich) Ribordy. She was one of six children. She attended school in Oakley, and graduated from Oakley High School in 1975. She later attended Northwest Kansas Technical College for a short time.
Leanna’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren, and going to watch them play sports.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister Sheila Ribordy.
She is survived by her daughters Emily Tinkler (Butch Smith) of Goodland, KS and Tracy Braun of Hays, KS. She is also survived by one brother Keith (Michele) Ribordy of Oakley, KS; four sisters, Loretta (Fred) Teeter of Oakley, KS, Connie (Kim) Jonely of West Jordan, UT, Donita (Everett) Harper of Lenexa, KS and Kristy (Glenn) Sears of Howells, NE; five grandchildren, Dru Keen, Ellie Keen, Jace Keen, Colton Braun and Weston Braun.
Her wish was to be cremated, and no services to be held at this time.
