Two NW Kansas men dead after rollover crash

NORTON COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after 12a.m. Sunday in Norton County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford Mustang driven by Michael J.Dela Vega, 37, Norton, was westbound on Kansas 383 two miles east of the U.S. 36 Junction at a high rate of speed.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, It struck a guard rail on the north side of the highway, traveled into the ditch, into a field and rolled.

Dela Vega and a passenger Andrew S. Campbell Sr, 44, Colby, were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to Plumer Gobber Funeral Home. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
