Terrell Edward "Terry" Bonnett, 65, of Topeka, KS formerly of Norton, KS
passed away January 21, 2022, at his home in Topeka. He was born
September 10, 1956, in Osceola, IA to Dale Edward and Leila Elizabeth
(Russell) Bonnett.
Terry grew up in Osceola, IA and was a 1974 Graduate of Clarke
Community High School. He then went on to attend York College in York,
NE, where he met his wife, Patti. Terry married Patti Persinger on
January 2, 1976, in Norton, KS, where they settled and farmed for many
years. He had a dedicated career of 31 years of service in the
Quartermaster Corps., enlisting in the Kansas Army National Guard in
1985 and retiring in 2016 as a CW4.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Elizabeth
Bonnett and daughters, Holly and April Bonnett. He is survived by his
wife, Patti, of the home in Topeka; daughters, Amber Bonnett of Topeka
and Aubrey (Alex) VanderHamm of Newcastle, WA and sisters, Sherri Lange
of Clive, IA and Vicki (Russ) Flaherty of Murray, IA.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 29, 2022, at
Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home, 215 W. Main St., Norton, KS 67654. Burial
will follow at the Norton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm
