Effective October 1, 2026, the Saturday hours of operation will change to 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ellis County Landfill.&nbsp;This will be for Saturdays only during the months of March through October each calendar year. 

&nbsp;We are also announcing winter hours of operation during the months of November through February only with the landfill open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. No dumping 15 minutes prior to closing. This will begin for the current year period on Saturday, November 7, 2026, lasting through February 27, 2027, Saturdays only.

All other regular business Monday through Friday hours will remain the same with the landfill open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no dumping 15 minutes prior to closing.
