Linda Lea Rasek, 84, passed away May 12, 2024, at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born on Aprill 22, 1940, in La Junta, Colorado, to Frank and Thelma “Imogene” (Taylor) Rasek.
After graduating high school, Linda obtained her Bachelor’s degree. She took a lifetime career in teaching in Marion and Hutchinson school districts. In her free time, she loved to travel extensively and expanded her knowledge of the world.
Survivors include several cousins including Larry Rasek of Ft. Collins, Colorado, numerous students she taught, and abundance of friends she met through the years on her travels.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2024, at Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas. Reverend Adam Wutka will be presiding.
