This past week, our Block & Bridle students traveled to Normal, Illinois to compete in the 2026 NACTA Judging Conference! NACTA is an annual spring event where 2-year and 4-year agricultural students compete in a variety of skill-based contests. This year, our students competed in Livestock Management and Veterinary Science, and we also had members represent FHSU Ag in the Knowledge Bowl.

Livestock Management – Reserve Champion TeamMembers: Ava Zerger, Hannah Donley, James Seeman, Brent Cantrell

Veterinary Science – 3rd Overall TeamMembers: Mary Caenen, Hannah Donley, Sidney Shears, Layne Soukup

3rd Overall Individual: Mary Caenen

Knowledge Bowl – 3rd Overall TeamMembers: Ava Zerger, Kiana Martin, Ava Skinner, Zach Zongker
