Norton resident Wenda Underwood passed away Thursday, July 9th at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS at the age of 79.

She was born December 2, 1940 in Norton, KS the daughter of Kenneth and Katherine S. (Murphy) Taylor.

She was united in marriage to James F. Underwood on October 11, 1958 in Norton, KS.&nbsp; He survives in Norton.

Other survivors include her daughters, Patty Fitzmaurice of Belgrade,
 MO, Theresa D. Underwood of Paola, KS and Connie Lynn Ellis of Ashland,
 Illinois; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.&nbsp; She is also 
survived by a brother Pat Taylor of Norton and a sister Carol Whitney of
 Olathe, KS.

A private family graveside will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25th in the Norton Cemetery, Norton, KS.&nbsp; The services will be streamed live on Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel FaceBook page.
