LOGAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30a.m. Thursday in Logan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Jeep Cherokee driven by Lisa Hobson Bernard, 63, Leawood, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Thomas County line.
The vehicle traveled off the road to the right and struck a KDOT guardrail. After impact, the Jeep traveled back across both eastbound lanes, struck another KDOT guardrail and then reentered the road coming to rest perpendicular in the passing lane.
EMS transported Bernard to the Logan County Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
