The brief cold front that blew through Hays brought a little bit of early morning rain Wednesday.

The official precipitation measurement at the K-State Agricultural Research Center south of town as of 8 a.m. was 0.22 inches. The Eagle Media Center, 2300 Hall, received 0.17 inches of rain.

Hays has seen 0.41 inches of rain so far in September. The 159-cumulative-year average for the month is 2.24 inches.

After an overnight low of 57 degrees Tuesday, the <a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/237fecb2-e281-406f-9ab7-c8a7139a9595">three-day weather forecast</a> is calling for a return to high temperatures in the 90s through Saturday.&nbsp;
