GREAT BEND – The Hays High volleyball team lost their opening match at the Great Bend 5A Sub-State. The Indians lost 23-25, 23-25 to Valley Center.
The Hornets lost to the host Panthers in the finals 25-21, 25-21.
The Indians end their season with a 27-9 record.
