With the start of the 2026 volleyball season right around the corner, the Kansas Volleyball Association released its preseason rankings Wednesday, and TMP-Marian and Victoria are among the area teams ranked to open the season.
The Monarchs are ranked No. 10 in Class 2A to open the season.
TMP won its own regional before losing in the first round of sub-state last season and finished with a 29-14 record.
The Monarchs open the season Saturday at the Hays Invitational.
Oakley is ranked No. 5 in Class 2A.
Quinter opens the season ranked No. 5 in Class 1A, Division I.
Victoria is ranked No. 7 to start the season in Class 1A, Division II.
The Knights are coming off a 33-9 season and a trip to the state tournament.
Wheatland-Grinnell, ranked No. 6, and Western Plains, ranked No. 10, are also ranked in Class 1A, Division II.
