ANDOVER - The Hays High softball team lost 16-1 in three innings to Andover Central at the Central Challenge Friday night.
The Jaguars scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning then scored 10 runs in the second inning.
Hays (10-12) opened the scoring in the first after a dropped third strike allowed Jaylee Summers to score.
Andover Central answered with five runs on three hits in the bottom of the inning then plated 10 runs on 10 hits in the second.
Jaylee Summers took the loss for Hays surrendering 15 runs (eight earned) on 13 hits with one strikeout and two walks.
The Indians play Andover Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
