The Ellis County Health Department on Wednesday announced two additional cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in the county.

The new cases have mild symptoms and are in home isolation. One case is a contact of a known positive with recent travel history, and the second has no known travel history.

Contacts will be notified, the health department said.&nbsp;
