
The National Weather Service in Dodge City is calling for an extended period of seasonable weather for the Hays area, with moderate temperatures and sunny to partly cloudy skies through the weekend.
While forecasters are predicting rainfall in Kansas beginning Saturday, forecasters expect any precipitation will stay east of a U.S. 183 line.
High temperatures through Monday will be in the upper-40s to mid-50s, with overnight lows in the upper-20s to low-30s. Winds are expected to increase through the weekend, with Sunday winds of 15 to 20 mph expected.
Tuesday will bring a cooldown, with a high of 41 predicted, dropping to a high of just 38 on Wednesday.
