Kathryn Kay Wulf, 70, of WaKeeney, Kansas passed away on March 20, 2022.   Kathy was born on May 24, 1951, to J. Henry and Elizabeth Wulf in WaKeeney, Kansas.

​After Kathy graduated from Trego Community High School in 1969, she attended Kansas State University majoring in Education.  She later received her master’s degree in library sciencefrom Emporia State University.  Kathy taught at several schools with 30 years at Ell-Saline High School in Brookville, KS.  She retired from teaching in 2008.  Kathy returned to WaKeeney and started working at the Western Kansas World in 2009 and was still working at the time of her death.

​Survivors include her sister, Shirley Mai, of WaKeeney, KS, nephews Wesley (Tami) Daubert of Peyton, CO, Kenny (Renee) Neff, WaKeeney, KS, niece Shelley (Ted) Berning, Colwich, KS, eight great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews along with many cousins and friends.   She is predeceased in death, by her father and mother, brothers, Larry Daubert and Wesley Dean Daubert, and niece Deborah Spratlen.

​Graveside services will be held on April 2, 2022, at 11:00 at the WaKeeney City Cemetery.
