Russell County is near the bottom of the rankings at No. 99, with just a 39 percent vaccination rate.

Several northwest Kansas counties, including Trego, Thomas, Sherman and Sheridan, were ranked among the lowest vaccination rates in the state.

KDHE will update the vaccination information regularly. Three metrics are reported and ranked across each county:

• Full series vaccination rate of eligible population (12+ year olds)
• Seven-day daily average number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people
• Seven-day daily average number of COVID-19 tests administered per 100,000 people.
