KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State kicker Carson Arndt&nbsp;was named the MIAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week on Monday for his efforts in the 37-0 win over Northeastern State. This is the third time Arndt has received the honor in his career at FHSU after receiving it twice last year.

Arndt was a perfect 3-of-3 on field goal attempts and made all four of his PAT attempts in the shutout win over Northeastern State. He connected on field goals from 32, 35, and 22 yards and has made 8-of-9 attempts for the season. Arndt has been successful on all of his PAT attempts this season. He was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection as year ago.

Arndt joins Gunnar Gundy of Emporia State (Offensive Athlete of the Week) and Noah Blair of Central Missouri (Defensive Athlete of the Week) as the weekly honorees from the conference office.&nbsp;&nbsp;
