⚽ Tiger men fall short at No. 20 Ranked Southern Nazarene

BETHANY, Okla. - Fort Hays State fell 1-0 to No. 20 ranked Southern Nazarene on Saturday (Oct. 9). The match was scoreless all the way until the final five minutes when the Storm netted the game's only goal. The Tigers fell to 6-4-1 (3-2 GAC) and the Crimson Storm stay unbeaten in the conference, now 8-3 (5-0 GAC).

In the 85th minute Harei Maeda was able to put one into the bottom left of the goal. The Tigers were outshot 17-8 in the match and were only able to put three shots on target. Keeper Kieran Brown compiled seven saves compared to only three by the SNU keeper.

The Tigers will play Newman twice next week. They travel to Wichita on Thursday for a 7 pm kickoff and then turn around and host the Jets in Hays on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 1 pm.
