Cottonwood Extension District
The Cottonwood District Extension Board has been honored with the Excellence in Board Leadership recognition by the State Extension Advisory Council and K-State Research and Extension (KSRE).
This prestigious achievement highlights the board’s dedication to leadership, development, and best practices in guiding local extension efforts.
The Excellence in Board Leadership program, launched in 2011, is a voluntary assessment designed to support local extension boards in strengthening their leadership skills. The program evaluates key indicators of success, ensuring boards effectively guide the mission of extension in their communities.
KSRE extends its gratitude to the board members for their service and commitment to providing high-quality educational programming that enhances the lives, livelihoods, and communities of Kansans.
The Cottonwood Extension District consists of Ellis and Barton counties.
Members of the board include from Ellis County, Allen Roth, Donna Maskus and Tatum Kimzey and from Barton County, Kathie Rondeau, Lori Waters, Glenna Reinert and Lexi Straub.
