THOMAS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F350 driven by Beau B. Radovich, 34, Lakewood, Colorado, was northbound on U.S. 83 eight miles north of Interstate 70.
The pickup rear-ended a 2023 Honda Odyssey driven by Sunad Rangarajan, 45, Denver, who stopped in the roadway due to low visibility from blowing dirt.
The impact caused the Honda to rotate left. A southbound 2004 Straight Truck driven by Grace A. Hansen, 58, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, struck the Honda.
EMS transported two passengers in the Honda Ramaswami Rangarajan, 74, and Vani Rangarajan, 74, both of Denver to Citizen's Medical Center.
Radovich, Hansen and occupants in their vehicles were not injured. All were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
