ELLIS — As part of National Activities Week, member schools receive “Award of Excellence” certificates from the National Federation of State High School Associations and the Kansas State High School Activities Association.
The certificates are presented to a high school and junior high student in recognition of their exemplary display of sportsmanship, ethics and integrity.
Ellis 388 announced recently that Tyson Jimenez, Ellis High School junior, and his brother Chance Jimenez, Ellis Junior High School eighth-grader, were the recipients of the awards.
