Marvin 'Curly' Leiker, 84, Hays, died Monday, June 23, 2025, at his home in Hays.

He was born September 6, 1940 in Hays the son of Ted and Sally (Haas) Leiker.  He was ranch manager for Sweetwater Ranch for 40 years and it was there that memories were made and cherished with family and friends.  Curly lived and demonstrated his strong faith and is well known for the metal sculptures, art, and mailboxes distributed around the United States.  He has crafted hundreds of metal sculptures for gifts, and sold as a business/hobby for sixty years.  He was featured in numerous magazines, newspaper articles, and gave demonstrations at city meetings, churches, and schools.  He was honored to serve his country and be a veteran.

Curly is survived by his wife Tamy, daughter Kenda Falley, son Tyson Leiker, his grandchildren Braden and Kate Falley, Jadyn Falley, Cody and Cheyenne Gephart, and Keaton Leiker, a great granddaughter Imelda, his sisters Mary Luecke and Shirley (Ivan) Werth, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Stacy Albers-Leiker.

Curly was laid to rest in St. Fidelis Cemetery in Victoria.  There will be a graveside memorial service at St. Fidelis Cemetery at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 26, 2025.  In lieu of flowers, choose a charity that would be a blessing to others.  Services are in the care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and condolences and memories of Curly may be shared with his family at www.haysmemorial.com
