With the Nov. 7 election two weeks away, advanced voting in Ellis County got underway on Monday.
Advanced voting will take place for the city, school, and extension district and improvement districts elections at the Ellis County Administrative building, 718 Main, Hays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until noon on Monday, Nov. 6.
The deadline to request a mail in ballot is Oct. 31 through the Ellis County Clerk’s office.
A sample ballot can be found at voteks.org or through the county clerk’s office.
