Reenea Bryant, 64, passed away July 12, 2021, at her home in Great Bend. She was born August 2, 1956, at Great Bend to Chester & Dorothy (Farmer) Bryant.
A lifetime Barton county resident, Reenea lived in Ellinwood for 25 years and the last 19 years in Great Bend. She was the head of housekeeping at the Holiday Inn/Highland Manor until she retired in 2004. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Great Bend and loved reading the bible. Her favorite saying was "One Day at a Time." She enjoyed working in the yard. Her grandchildren were the sunshine of her heart and soul.
Survivors include, her children, Misty Bryant of Great Bend, Ashley Trejo of Ellinwood, Lacey Lininger and husband Neil, Casey Hupfer, and Devin Hupfer all of Great Bend; and her grandchildren, Jacob Hoch, Dominique Hoch, Makayah Trejo, Elyssiah Trejo, Martin Trejo, Braylen Lininger, Jayvion Lininger, Alex Bunch, and Danasia Bunch. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Dana Hupfer; a grandson, Gavoyn Bunch; and two sisters, Sharon Herrman, and Shirley Wedgewood.
Visitation will be held from Noon to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021, at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dwight Dozier presiding. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to the Goldie Reenea Bryant Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
