HAYS, Kan. - Fort Hays State played to a scoreless draw with No. 19 ranked Rogers State on Thursday. FHSU finished the regular season 8-4-6 overall and 6-2-3 in conference play, while RSU moved to 8-3-5 overall and 6-1-3 in GAC play with one contest left.

Both squads put together long stretches of accurate passes to set up offensive opportunities, but neither were able to find the net. The final shot count was 16-13 in favor of the Hillcats. With seven saves in the match, Kieran Brown now has the most career saves in FHSU men's soccer history with 204. Kent Freund previously held the record with 198. Brown also collected his 19th career shutout.

The Tigers now await seeding in the GAC/MIAA tournament that will take place next weekend (Nov. 4-6). Southern Nazarene, Rogers State, and Northeastern State are all still in the hunt to claim the regular season title and a chance to host the conference tournament, while FHSU will come up at least one point short of the top of the standings. Southern Nazarene took the conference lead Thursday, now at 23 points, while FHSU and Rogers State are both at 22. Northeastern State is still in striking distance with 20 points.
