DOWNS — Edward Carl, 81, passed away February 24, 2022.  He was born November 15, 1940, in Beloit, KS, the son of Nicholas and Irene (Slipke) Carl.

He was the retired owner/operator of Fast Eddies Express trucking company.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy, in 1977 and grandson, Grady Carl, in 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Darla of the home; sons and daughters: Gary Carl (Carla) of Glen Elder, Lori Kugler (Jim Nylund) of Smith Center, Joya Schroeder of Tipton, Mike Williams (Angi) of Marysville, Kent Williams of Parker, CO; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Bob Carl of Tulare, CA; sisters, Margaret Komp of Indianapolis, IN and Loretta Brand of Colwich.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Cawker City. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, February 27th, at 6-8:00 p.m. at the church with family present. 

 Memorials may be given to the Lakeside Golf Course, Cawker City in care of Domoney Funeral Home, P.O. Box 127, Downs, KS 67437.
