FHSU's Angram-Boldin, Breckbill receive 2022 NSCA All-American Athlete Award

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fort Hays State seniors Amari Angram-Boldin (football) and Sara Breckbill (softball) received the 2022 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American Athlete Award. Both receive the honor based off athletic accomplishments and dedication to strength and training, nominated for the award by Fort Hays State Strength and Conditioning Coach Doug Boucher.

Angram-Boldin was a Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention selection as an offensive lineman for the 2021 season. He was a three-time All-MIAA selection for the Tigers in football, including first-team honors in 2021. He was also an All-Super Region 3 First Team selection by the D2CCA in 2021. He made 34 consecutive starts for the Tigers dating back to the start of his sophomore season of 2018. He helped the Tiger offense generate a new school record for first downs gained in a season three straight years. Angram-Boldin helped the Tigers to back-to-back MIAA Championships in 2017 and 2018 and the Tigers had a record of 33-13 during his four years on the field. Angram-Boldin is a native of Pahokee, Florida.

Breckbill played softball for five years at FHSU from 2018-2022, utilizing her extra COVID year after the 2020 season was cut short due to the pandemic. She is a three-time All-MIAA selection, garnering honors as both a catcher and utility player. Breckbill is also a two-time MIAA Scholar-Athlete and will be a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. She finished her career with 226 games played, the most in FHSU softball history. She led the team in RBIs (31) and tied for the team lead in home runs (7) for the 2022 season, and tied for the NCAA Division II lead in sacrifice flies by the end of the regular season with seven. By adding the seven sacrifice flies in 2022, she is now the all-time leader in the category at FHSU with 11. She ranks third in doubles (43), fourth in hits (198), fifth in runs scored (105), total bases (294) and walks (70), sixth in RBIs (114) and hit-by-pitch (15), and eighth in home runs (17) for a career at FHSU. Breckbill is a native of Parker, Colorado.
