The Hays High girls remained seventh in the latest Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association Class 5A rankings released Tuesday. The Indians have three individuals ranked this week. Junior Timber Lovewell remained second at 145, senior Lexi Barnett remained third at 155 and junior Eleanor Stoffel remained fourth at 190.
The Hays boys have four ranked wrestlers this week. Senior Johnny Rigler remained third at 190, sophomore Archer Amrein is fourth at 175, senior Jaxson Chartier is fourth at 215 and junior Tanner Geist fourth at 285.
No change at the top of the 3-2-1A girls rankings. Russell remained first, Norton second, Oakley third, Plainville fourth and Smith Center fifth, Phillipsburg dropped two spots to 10th.
The Hoxie boys continue to hold down the top spot in the 3-2-1A team rankings, Smith Center jumped three slots to third, Norton dropped two positions to fifth and Russell remained 10th.
