Updates on the R9 long-term water supply project for Hays and Russell will be presented at Thursday's Hays City Commission meeting.
Property development, wellfield and pipeline projects and regulatory updates will be discussed.
Jeff Crispin, director of water resources, will present a bid for the replacement of the water reclamation (tertiary) filter at the Water Reclamation and Reuse Facility, 1498 Highway 40 Bypass.
Crispin told city commissioners last week that there is only one filter system manufacturer, and he is confident in the product.
The bid of $48,087 from Evoqua Water Technologies, Waukesha, Wisconsin, is below the $70,000 budget.
Also on the agenda is Amanda Rupp, executive director of the Ellis County Historical Society, who will present the 2025 goals for the Ellis County Historical Society.
Mayor Sandy Jacobs will present her appointment recommendations to the following boards:
