The chance of showers or thunderstorms returns to the Hays area Thursday night, the National Weather Service reported.
There is a 40 percent chance of showers or storms after 7 p.m. Thursday, with a continued 20 percent to 50 percent chance extending into the early morning hours Monday.
Thursday will bring triple-digit temperatures to the area during the day, with a high of 101 projected.
