
Francis Allan Moore, 91, of Oberlin, KS passed away March 10, 2021 in
North Platte, NE. Francis was born in rural Cedar Bluffs, KS on October
5, 1929, to Dem and Norma Moore.
Francis grew up in Cedar Bluffs, KS. He married Joan Robinson on
December 25, 1950. Francis served in the US Army during the Korean
conflict, 1951-1953. He took his young family to southern California for
a 30-year career with Deluxe check printers. Retirement brought Francis
and Joan back to Oberlin. In 1980, he started a second career as a
farmer. He spent the next 40 years pursuing that passion.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Dem and Norma; wife,
Joan Moore, and daughter, Marsha Eubank. He is survived by companion,
Ilene O’Leary; daughters, Rita and Kelly Krier of Oberlin, KS and Patty
and Mike Savage of Loganville, GA; four grandchildren, Nick Eubank,
Megan Ayers, Cody Savage and Clayton Eubank, and four great
grandchildren.
