HAYS, Kan. - The Fort Hays State baseball team will push back its home series against No. 25 Missouri Southern one day due to this weekend's weather forecast. The Tigers (11-4, 6-0 MIAA) and Lions (10-5, 3-3 MIAA) will now play in a three-game set beginning Saturday (March 8) and concluding Monday (March 10) at Larks Park.
First pitch is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday and 1 p.m. on Monday.
The Tigers have won seven in a row, the longest active winning streak in the MIAA. Fort Hays State is 20-49 all-time against Missouri Southern, including a win in the most recent meeting. This is the third-straight year the Lions have traveled to Larks Park for a three-game series, with MSSU leading 4-2 during the Justin Wichert era.
