🎾 HHS boys teams fare well at own invitational

HAYS - The Hays High boys tennis team finished first and third respectively at their own invitational tournament Monday. The Hays-Gold team had three first place finishes and won the team title with 26 points, six ahead of second place Salina South. The Hays-Maroon squad had three second place finishes and placed third with 16 points. 

Colin Clark went 3-0 to win No. 1 Singles for the HHS-Gold. Both of the Gold Doubles team went 3-0. The No. 1 team of Xavier Catura and Kale Schwien and the No. 2 team of Preston Parr and Mason Schleicher both finished first. Conner Miller went 1-2 and place fifth at No. 2 Singles.

Kaiden Bunger went 2-1 at No. 1 Singles and placed second. Both of the Maroon Doubles teams went 2-1 and finished second. Henry Fitzthum and Carsen Riat were the No. 1 team and the No. 2 team consisted of Leo Hernandez and Corbin Luck.
