The coordinated search related to [Thursday] morning’s crash has concluded, the vehicle was identified as a Toyota Sienna and the assisting agencies have been released from the search.
Six adults and one juvenile were located and transported for medical care. An additional individual was released into the custody of a federal agency.
We have received varying reports regarding the total number of occupants in the vehicle, ranging from approximately eight to 12 people. Because of those conflicting reports, we cannot say with certainty that every individual who may have been in the vehicle has been located.
Responders searched an approximately four-square-mile area using personnel, drones, side-by-sides, and four-wheelers, and no additional individuals were located.
At this time, we do not have information indicating an immediate danger to the public. We do ask residents to remain aware of their surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office.
