PITTSBURG, Kan. - The 24th-ranked Fort Hays State men's track and field team racked up four top-10 finishes on day two of the 2026 MIAA Outdoor Championships Saturday (May 2).
Drew Tolar ran the 200m prelims in 21.37, finishing in sixth place to earn a spot in Sunday's finals.
Noah Morenz finished in seventh place in the 3,000m steeplechase, turning in a personal-best time of 9:12.20 and adding two points to FHSU's team total. That time is third-best at FHSU during the DII era.
Cole Krug also recorded a PR in the steeplechase, finishing in 9:21.01 to place ninth. His time is sixth on the DII era list.
Kaeden Kasselman reached the finals in the discus, placing ninth with a top toss of 163-5 on his second attempt.
Fort Hays State currently sits in eighth place as a team with nine points. The Tigers will wrap up the conference meet on Sunday (May 3), with field events beginning at 11 a.m. and track events starting at 2 p.m.
