TREGO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Thursday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Freightliner semi driven by Austin B. Forlemu, 50, Indianapolis, Indiana, was westbound on Interstate 70 two miles east of the U.S. 283 Junction.
The driver lost control of the vehicle when the right side tires left the roadway. The vehicle fishtailed, entered the median, spun clockwise, overturned and slid to a stop.
EMS transported Forlemu to Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
