LARNED – The TMP-Marian boys golf team qualified two for next week’s 3A State Tournament. Pake Dewey shot a 9-over par 79 and placed third at the Larned Regional at the Larned Country Club. Freshman Heuer Brungardt placed eighth with a 20-over par 90.
Larned’s Easton Fitzpatrick won the individual title by six shots after firing a 2-over par 72.
The Indians won the team title by two shots over Cimarron. TMP-Marian place third, five shots out of second.
The 3A State Golf Tournament is next Monday and Tuesday at the Salina Municipal Golf Course.
