At the Kansas Emergency Medical Services Association “Honoring Our Own” annual banquet on Aug. 14, former Ellis County Health Services Director Kerry McCue received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
McCue was nominated for this award to recognize his outstanding contributions to EMS in Kansas and the community and patients he served. To be nominated, an individual’s contributions to pre-hospital care must have been consistent and long lasting, representing in effect, a lifetime of outstanding service to the profession and to the public. To be eligible, one must be a Kansas certified EMS professional.
"Ellis County wishes to congratulate Mr. McCue on this achievement and thank him once again for his many years of dedicated service to the Ellis County residents," the county said in a news release.
