Ellis County (3 down, 5 right from northwest corner), along with most of Kansas, has returned to abnormally dry conditions according to the <a href="https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentMap/StateDroughtMonitor.aspx?KS">U.S. Drought Monitor</a>.

Western Kansas is at an elevated fire weather risk Saturday afternoon as determined by the <a href="https://www.weather.gov/ddc/">National Weather Service</a> in Dodge City. Relative&nbsp;humidity will fall to as low as 20 percent and north winds will gust up to&nbsp;30 mph.

The <a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/4afade19-a32a-4281-9662-582de9fd01ad">three-day weather forecast </a>calls for dry conditions and warmer temperatures.&nbsp;
