HESSTON -&nbsp;The Hays High girls' golfers shot a final-round 349 and finished in fifth place at the 5A State Tournament at the Hesston Golf Course. Day one leader Kapuan Mt. Carmel won the team title by 25 shots over Emporia. 

The Indians had three finish in the top-20. Senior Katie Dinkel rebounded after an opening round 87 and shot a 7-over-par 78 on Tuesday and tied for ninth at 165. Junior Abbie Norris, who shot an 81 on Monday, closed with a 93 Tuesday and tied for 14th place. Sophomore Jaycee Oakley also shot a 93 Tuesday and tied for 18th.

Maize sophomore Kinslea Jones had rounds of 70 and 73 and won the individual title with a 143, two shots ahead of Kapaun Mt. Carmel's Meg Tilma.
