Jose Garnica-Ramirez, 77, passed away March 16, 2021, at his home in Great Bend. He was born June 24, 1943, at Quiringuicharo, Michoaca, Mexico to Luis & Esperanza (Ramirez) Garnica. He married Mary M. Gutierrez July 6, 1984, in Reno, Nevada.
A current Great Bend resident for 20 years, Jose was a rancher for over 25 years. He was a member of the Apostolic Assembly Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Mary Garnica of the home; a son, Jesus Garnica of Chicago, Ill.; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Jose Garnica, Jr. and Roberto Garnica.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, at Apostolic Assembly, 3920 Forest, Great Bend, with Homero Cardenaz presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials have been designated to Apostolic Assembly, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
