The Ellis County Health Department on Monday announced eight additional cases of COVID-19 had been identified in the county since Friday.

There are now 13 active cases, including one active hospitalization and 147 recovered cases.&nbsp;

Since reporting began, there have been 161 cases of coronavirus identified in Ellis County, including one death.

Ellis County updates case counts each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
