A Hays man was arrested on Aug. 27 on multiple drug charges after police were called to a Hays home after a reported overdose.

Police were called at about 10:47 p.m. Aug. 27 to the 400 block of Milner, according Hays Police Chief Don Scheibler.

A woman alleged that a man had put prescription drugs in her drink, Scheibler said. The parties knew each other, he said.

Police could not find evidence of the allegation.

The Ellis County Attorney's office has declined to charge anyone with a crime in connection to that allegation, said Joshua Becker, assistant Ellis County Attorney.

The woman was transported to the hospital, Scheibler said.

Christian Korbe of Hays has been charged in Ellis County District Court with six counts, including two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of clonazepam and possession of drug paraphernalia, Becker said.
